Meet Mekdes👋🏽
A little background:
Mekdes lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
She has been working for Shamida, an orphanage for vulnerable children for 4 years. She has survived a bad motorbike accident of which the injuries make it hard for her to work a physically demanding job. She has recently had the dream to start her own coffee shop. She stater working for shamida, but she was capable of so much more, hence her applying to HNS for a micro-loan.
HerNext is pleased to have accepted her and wish her all the best as she takes steps to open her cafe.
